About the blankets
Are the designs based on real places?
Yes. Every Atlas Blanket begins with elevation data for a specific landscape. We use topographic contour lines and hillshade to preserve the recognizable structure of the terrain rather than applying a generic map pattern.
How accurate are the designs?
The artwork is developed from digital elevation models sourced from public scientific data archives such as NASA and USGS. Coordinates and terrain forms are checked against the source data, then composed for the proportions of the blanket.
What size is the blanket?
Each design is offered in one size: 50" × 60" (127 × 152 cm).
What is it made of?
The blanket is 100% polyester with a smooth dye-sublimation printed face, a soft gray flannel fleece reverse, and a gray bound edge.
How is the design printed?
Dye sublimation infuses the artwork into the printed fabric face rather than applying a surface layer. This keeps the contour detail clear and avoids the feel of a heavy graphic sitting on top of the textile.
Orders, shipping, and care
How long will delivery take?
Every blanket is made to order, so production time is additional. Estimated transit after production is 2–5 business days within the United States and 10–30 business days for Canada, the European Countries market, and other international destinations. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and unincorporated U.S. territories can require an additional 7–12 business days. These windows are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping for one 50" × 60" blanket is $9.99 to the United States, $16.99 to Canada, $23.49 to destinations in the European Countries market, and $19.99 to other supported international destinations. Each additional blanket in the same shipment is $4.99 in the United States, $8.19 in Canada, and $9.99 internationally. The rate shown at checkout is controlling.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to supported destinations. Country availability and the final shipping rate are shown at checkout. International orders can be delayed by customs, and destination duties or taxes may apply.
What is the return policy?
Because each blanket is made to order, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Can you create a custom location?
